Based in northern California, Underdog was formed in 2005 with one simple mission:

"To provide soccer players with quality training, affordable apparel and outstanding customer service"

Shaking things up since 2005
 
We have been shaking things up in Northern California since June of 2005 with the single goal of providing a refreshing, affordable alternative to the old and expensive soccer training programs and local soccer shops

When asked "Why 'Underdog?" trainer director Diego Arrieta replies: 

"Because we are the Underdogs! We don't have professional backgrounds or fancy licenses from European countries. We don't have monstrous soccer shops on busy venues.
We're dedicated and passionate soccer players and trainers, and we want to help others become skilled soccer players and strong, wholesome individuals."

We believe soccer to be a thinking sport where the individual pours heart, mind and body to the benefit of the team. We believe that players should be encouraged to think for themselves so they can create rather than emulate.

We believe soccer to be a beautiful sport and that everyone should be able to enjoy it regardless social or economic status.

With this end, we do our part by providing quality, passionate, and always affordable soccer training and apparel so that everyone can learn and grow while playing this beautiful "chess on grass"
